Sterling Engineering is hiring CNC Machinists for a growing, global manufacturer that specializes in electrical grid and power distribution solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines in accordance with work instructions
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
Deburr and clean parts using belt sanders and drill presses
Maintain quality standards and production output in a self-directed environment
Safely handle parts weighing between 1 lb. and 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
3+ years of CNC machining and setup experience
Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills
Experience setting up and operating Okuma and Mazak machines
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
