Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing fabrication shop serving the West Tulsa/Sapulpa area. This position is responsible for operating Haas CNC machining centers, performing machine setups, making program adjustments, and producing precision-machined components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate has strong CNC machining experience, can independently perform machine setups, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience operating CNC machining centers
Experience with Haas CNC machines utilizing Fanuc controls
Working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming
Ability to perform machine setups, tool changes, work offsets, and basic program edits
Strong blueprint, schematic, and technical drawing interpretation skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing precision-machined parts
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate Haas CNC machining centers to manufacture precision components
Perform complete machine setups, tool changes, and work offset adjustments
Make basic program edits using Fanuc controls as required
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications
Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
Maintain production records and communicate quality or equipment concerns to supervisors
Keep machines, tooling, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing practices
Assist with additional machining and production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in precision machining or fabrication environments
Knowledge of tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and machining best practices
Experience troubleshooting CNC machining issues
Familiarity with preventive maintenance on CNC equipment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
Ability to safely operate CNC machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working around industrial equipment, cutting tools, and machining operations
Work Environment
Precision CNC machine shop and fabrication facility

Exposure to CNC machining centers, cutting tools, coolant systems, and industrial equipment
