Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate high-quality aerospace parts. - Setup & Operation: Manage Mori Seki/Hwacheon (Fanuc) single and multi-spindle lathes and mills.
- Production: Load parts, cycle machines, and run production lots within a cell environment.
- Maintenance: Perform milling, turning, drilling, and de-burring while maintaining a clean, safe work area.
- Quality Control: Inspect machined products using precision instruments and document results to meet quality standards.
- Collaboration: Detect malfunctions (like worn tooling) and communicate effectively with the team regarding production runs.
Qualifications- Technical Skills: Proficiency in blueprint reading, Fanuc systems, and basic math.
- Experience: Proven background in CNC machining, specifically with lathes.
- Measurement: Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
- Mindset: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and strong technical/mechanical capacity.
