Principle Responsibilities
  • Operate machine and secondary equipment
  • Closely monitors tool life and performs setup/teardown when needed
  • Mounts fixtures and workpieces in accordance with schedule
  • Load and return proper goods to respective locations within staging area
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or supervisor.
  • Maintain high level of 5S across entire work station and surrounding area
  • Ability to clearly communicate to other team members, especially shift changeovers and handoffs
  • Perform inspection of machined products and complete all electronic documentation
  • Adheres to the company's safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with programming team to continuously improve machining methods and processes
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
  • Intermediate Computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to interpret models, perform basic mathematic calculations, and use hand held measuring tools and equipment
  • Physical Strength - must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are up to 40 pounds.
  • Understanding of company quality and safety standards.
  • Knowledgeable of Mold Base assembly and components.
  • CAD/CAM knowledge - Solidworks/Camworks experience preferred
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Work Experience
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience preferred
