Job Description Job Description As a CNC Machinist, you will manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment from setup to operation, producing parts and tools from different resources. The Machinist will be tasked with monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products, and leading test runs.Schedule2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 4:00pm-12:30amKey ResponsibilitiesSet-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding, and milling.Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the companyOversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved resultsCheck machinery daily to guarantee functionalityRecord all machine actions by completing production and quality logsCommunicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a partEnsure that results of machining process align with client expectationsConduct regular CNC machine assessmentsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent qualification requiredExperience with Mazak a plus1 - 3 years' experience as a CNC MachinistAbility to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawingsGreat attention to detail with a goal-driven attitudeStrong comprehension and analytical abilitiesGood computer and mathematical skills.Able to do basic mill set upsUnderstand basic Fanuc controlsCapable of interpreting blueprintsAble to understand geometric signs and tolerancesCapable of reading and using measuring instrumentsKnowledge of Algebra and math functionsAbout NCW:At NCW, we do our best to provide the brightest talent to the best companies across the country.
