Our Komline Custom Machining team is seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to aid us in delivering precision parts and components to meet our goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce precision parts
Program CNC machines using G-code to control machine operations
Inspect finished products using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet project deadlines and production goals
Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and optimize production processes
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in CNC machining or completion of a technical program in CNC operation
Proficiency in operating a 5-Axis DMG CNC machine and understanding G-code/M-code
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to work 2nd shift 4:00pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday.
Nice To Have:
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, AutoCAD)
Experience operating CNC lathes or turn mill experience
