    Description

    CNC Machinist 3rd Class – 2nd Shift

    We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our Target Rock team!

    As our CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the operation of CNC machine tools within a given manufacturing department. You will perform these activities in compliance with Company procedures and quality requirements. Additionally, you will be able to check own production parts to maintain manufacturing processes and make offset adjustments as required working with supervision.  

    Location: East Farmingdale, NY

    Hours: 5:30pm to 2:30am

    hourly rate: $29.54

Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

    Your Challenge

    • Ability to operate machines within a given manufacturing department.
    • Set-up machines for simple manufacturing operations.
    • Responsible to maintain quality and productivity standards.
    • Basic blueprint reading.
    • Ability to use inspection equipment and inspect own work.
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor

    What You Bring

    • Must be a US citizen
    • High School Graduate or equivalent, shop mathematics and Trigonometry Skills.
    • Two (2) years of manufacturing or related experience.
    • General good housekeeping practices within work area.
    • Maintain correct time reporting and accurate entries on applicable manufacturing documentation.
    • Comply with Company quality and safety requirements.
    • Basic Mathematics skills.
