Your Role & Responsibilities
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will ensure precision and quality across diverse manufacturing projects. Key duties include: - Setup & Operation: Determine requirements from setup sheets and operate machines on first-piece runs to verify accuracy.
- Technical Execution: Study blueprints and sketches to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Tooling & Materials: Select, align, and secure fixtures and cutting tools; load/unload raw materials (up to 50 lbs.).
- Quality Control: Use micrometers, height gages, and gage blocks to verify work.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with engineers and team leaders to resolve machining issues.
Qualifications- Experience: 5+ years of CNC Lathe machining experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with GD&T and G&M codes.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift between 10-50 lbs.
- Reliability: A quality-oriented mindset with an excellent attendance record.
