CNC MACHINIST St. Louis, MOFull-Time | On-Site | Hourly / Non-Exempt
About Our Client
Our client is a respected, long-standing aerospace manufacturer serving the defense industry for over 50 years. They specialize in precision-machined components built to exacting standards. The facility operates 7 days a week across four shifts to maximize production, and they are currently hiring for off-shift opportunities.

Shift Options & Premiums
Shift premiums available for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday | 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.+10% shift premium
  • 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday | 10:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. (4 ten-hour shifts)+15% shift premium
  • 4th Shift (Weekend): Saturday-Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. + one 8-hour weekday shift (32 hours/week total)+25% shift premium

What You'll Do:
  • Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills
  • Read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions
  • Perform first-piece inspections and in-process inspections
  • Use micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other precision tools
  • Audit machine setups and inspection documentation
  • Maintain safe work practices at all times
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in quality and productivity
What They're Looking For
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers
  • Trade/technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
