As a CNC Machinist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our production of high-precision aerospace components. You'll work closely with your supervisor and team to set up, operate, and monitor advanced CNC equipment, ensuring parts meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to delivering safe, reliable aerospace products to our customers.

What You'll Do
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and operating 2- to 5-axis lathes to manufacture parts with tight tolerances, ensuring each piece meets blueprint specifications.
  • Reviewing electronic and written blueprints to understand job requirements and determine the necessary tools and materials.
  • Calculating cutting paths, feeds, and speeds to optimize machining processes.
  • Monitoring machine performance, adjusting parameters, and ensuring proper lubrication and cooling during operation.
  • Checking work accuracy using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, and verifying parts against blueprints and specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Supporting team efforts by performing additional duties as assigned to meet production deadlines.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience setting up and operating 2- to 5-axis CNC lathes.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Proficiency using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to read and understand technical work instructions and specifications.
  • Good attendance and reliability.
  • The capacity to work scheduled overtime and off-shift hours on short notice when needed.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in CNC machining are a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, push up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
