Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who is looking for a 4-day workweek, competitive pay, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing manufacturing company.
Schedule & Training
Regular 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday 2:00 PM–12:30 AM
Training Schedule: Training will take place on 1st shift Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay
$24.00 per hour
What You'll Do
Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Load materials and properly position parts for machining
Make machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality specifications
Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe
Follow all company safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For
Previous CNC machining experience
Experience with CNC machine setup and operation preferred
Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements and tolerances
Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
Must be available to train on the 1st shift schedule
Steel-toe footwear required
