Located in Bridgeview, IL, this company serves aerospace, gas, and oil industries making high pressure filters for sophisticated applications. Since 1979, their team is dedicated to providing quality parts and does all design work in house.

Their 75 person shop is home to 12 machines including turning centers with live tooling and 3-4 axis mills. In this role, the machinist will be responsible for programming - as required using Esprit - , set up and operation of these machines. 

Schedule:

  • 1st shift, 4/10 schedule (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM start)

  • Optional overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays

Responsibilities: 
  • Perform set up, operation and editing to optimal efficiency
  • First article inspections
  • Program parts as needed 
  • Pass job to operator 
  • Routine maintenance
  • Help in other aspects of the shop as needed
Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of setup and operation of CNC machines (including milling centers and/or live tooling)
  • Experience in instructing, training, and working with operators and other machinists on CNC machines
  • Ability to read technical drawings (including GD&T) and understand verbal instructions
  • Mazatrol and Fanuc controller experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to use G-Code
  • Correct use of precision measuring tools and equipment
  • Fabricate and/or alter special tooling to produce complex parts
  • Basic computer skills including the use of Windows and Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Work
