Our company, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled Permanent CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 5-axis precision machining, be able to work with tight tolerances, and have a deep understanding of precision measurement and grinding processes. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to work on some of the most innovative projects in the industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:

1. Setting up and operating 5-axis CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.
2. Working within tight tolerances to produce high-quality parts and components.
3. Using precision measurement tools to verify dimensions of finished workpieces.
4. Grinding and finishing workpieces to meet specified tolerances and finish requirements.
5. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
6. Selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
7. Monitoring the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
8. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and industry safety regulations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent CNC Machinist position, candidates must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with significant experience in 5-axis precision machining.
2. Proficiency in working with tight tolerances and using precision measurement tools.
3. A solid understanding of grinding processes and techniques.
4. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
5. Experience in tooling, including the selection, alignment, and securing of holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
6. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is preferred but not required.
