Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will have a background in CNC programming and machining processes, with the ability to operate CNC lathes and milling machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet stringent specifications. Responsibilities - Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines to produce parts according to specifications. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements. - Utilize CNC programming skills to create and modify programs for efficient machining operations. - Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications - Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. - Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively. - Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not required. - Understanding of tooling requirements for various machining operations.
