CNC Machinist
The Job Center Staffing is hiring associates on 2 nd and 3 rd shifts for CNC Machinist in the Dayton, OH area. This is a great opportunity for a direct hire placement with a great company p roviding six-month auto salary increases until topping out, quarterly attendance bonuses, and various in-house training programs!
Program editing, loading, running, and full QC check, all independently.
Set up and run CNC machine (CNC lathe, CNC mill, or 5-axis machine) using good machining, quality, and safety practices.
Adjust offsets for tools to hold tolerances as low as .0005.
Setup and use precision measuring equipment such as .0001 indicators, dial or electronic bore gages, gage blocks, inside and outside micrometer, depth mics, dial calipers, etc.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Requirements of CNC Machinist
5+ years of experience on CNC mills or lathes.
Capable of setting up, modifying programs, running, and using QC gauges to check the part independently.
Must be able to run independently within a month of being hired on - not a 'button pushing' role. Must be a true machinist.
