What you will do as a CNC Machinist:- Set up and operate vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines to produce parts to spec
- Load/unload materials, select tooling, set work offsets, and make basic program edits as needed
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and GD&T callouts; verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Monitor machine performance, adjust feeds/speeds, and troubleshoot routine issues to maintain quality and throughput
- Complete production and inspection documentation; follow 5S and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Collaborate with teammates, cross-train on varied tasks, and support continuous improvement
What you need to be a CNC Machinist: - Experience with CNC milling (vertical and/or horizontal) preferred; willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools; strong basic math/mechanical aptitude
- Reliable, responsible, ambitious, and comfortable pitching in on varied tasks; effective team player
- Ability to lift 25–30 pounds and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations
