We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team on 3rd shift. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components while meeting production and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Load materials and tooling, make machine adjustments, and monitor production runs.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary offsets or adjustments.
Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet specifications.
Complete production documentation and inspection records accurately.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with preventative maintenance and general housekeeping of work areas.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
Qualifications
Previous CNC machining experience required.
Experience with CNC setup and operation preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
