We are currently looking for CNC Machinist responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision instrument mouthpieces for in-house production. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a commitment to quality. The machinist works closely with team members to ensure all parts meet stringent standards.
This is an on-site role and will require the candidate to work on-site daily in the Farmingdale office.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive total compensation package. The hourly pay range for this role is $27.00 to $38.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities:
SetupCNC lathes and Milling machines, and othermachine equipment to produce precision mouthpieces.
Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate mouthpieces accurately.
Utilize CAM programming (Mastercam) for CNC machines when necessary.
Employ precision measuring instruments, such as bore gauges, micrometersand calipers, to verify dimensions of finished products.
Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC lathe and Millingmachinist with proficiency in setting up milling machines and lathes.
Familiarity with CNC operations setup and operations is mandatory.
Experience operating a Haas UMC-500SS (or similar high-speed 5-axis machining center) is required. Candidates should have experience with simultaneous 5-axis machining; experience with automated systems such as robotic loading systems and pallet pools is highly desirable.
Experience with CAM programming (Mastercam) is a plus.
Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments including bore gauges andmicrometer.
Knowledge of tooling techniques and materials used in machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
