CNC Machinist

Job description

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 2nd Shift 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator for our 1st and 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Hwacheon, Kits, HAAS, WIA, Mori, and Murata machines is highly preferred.

Nature of Work

Produces precision components using CNC equipment by setting up, operating, and adjusting machinery to fabricate customer components to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up tools and load material into CNC machines
• Operate CNC machinery to machine precision components
• Recognize and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to ensure tolerance requirements are met
• Collect and report required production data
• Clearly communicate problems or machine issues to the Supervisor
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, and regulations
• Perform daily and routine cleaning tasks on CNC machinery
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining experience required
• Experience with Hwacheon, Kits, HAAS, WIA, Mori, and/or Murata machines preferred
• Ability to read measuring instruments and maintain tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
