What You’ll Do as a CNC Machinist:- Review and interpret engineering schematics and technical drawings
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines for specific production jobs
- Operate CNC machinery to produce parts to exact specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues
- Inspect finished parts using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety guidelines
What You Need to Bring to the CNC Machinist Role:- Certificate in machine shop technology, machine tool technology, or machinist program
- 1+ years of mechanical assembly or machining experience preferred
- Recognized apprenticeship may be required
- Strong math, analytical, and computer skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
- High attention to detail and strong self-motivation
