CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist at Koops creates precision mechanical components used in custom automation equipment for a wide range of industries. What You'll Do

• Manufacture precision components for custom automation equipment
• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment
• Utilize a variety of measuring tools to ensure part quality and accuracy
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Apply mechanical aptitude to support machining and manufacturing processes
• Develop creative solutions for machine setups and machining challenges
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

Qualifications

• Ability to utilize precision measuring tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• CAM programming experience
• Solidworks and CAM Works knowledge preferred 
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
