Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Experience of using Fanuc, Mazak, or Mazatrol controls.
Program CNC machines using G-code and other relevant programming languages.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
Familiarity with various types of CNC machinery and tools (i.e. Mics, Calipers, and Gauges).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
