TMD Staffing is looking to hire an Entry-Level CNC Operator in the East Houston, TX area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person; Manufacturing/Shop Setting
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate and assist with CNC machinery under the direction of experienced machinists.
Load and unload materials and parts into machines.
Read and follow basic work instructions, blueprints, and shop drawings.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts.
Perform basic machine setup and make adjustments as trained.
Monitor machines during production to ensure parts are produced correctly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Complete production paperwork and accurately record measurements and quantities.
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
Assist experienced machinists with daily production tasks.
Learn machine operation, tooling, inspection procedures, and manufacturing processes.
Meet production schedules and quality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous manufacturing, machining, or shop experience is a plus but not required.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to read and understand basic measurements.
Ability to use or learn precision measuring tools.
Basic knowledge of hand tools.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
PAY RATE
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - Until finish
3:30 PM - Until finish
