CNC Machinist II

CNC Machinists – Direct Hire – Birdsboro
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Starting pay is based on experience level  $28-$35/hr 
Manpower is assisting a premiere manufacturer with hiring a CNC Machinist to join their team in Birdsboro! The right candidate should have at least 3 years of experience of machining using manual mills, lathes, or grinders along with 3 axis CNC.
Role Responsibilities and Priorities:
• Conduct setup and machining using manual mills, lathes, grinders and CNC Machining Centers as necessary.
• Analyzes drawings, sketches, and design data of part to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds and feed rates. Able to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T)
• Performs basic to intermediate level programming of CNC Machinery
• Outlines sequence of operations required to machine part.
• Observes operation of machine and inspects parts to prove programmed instructions.
• Performs part inspection with common measuring tools (i.e., Part probe, micrometer, calipers, etc.).
• Effectively communicates with Tooling Department Manager to review work schedule and status of assignments.. Job
Qualifications include:
3 + years trade school diploma required or 2+ years college in a technical discipline preferred
CNC Programmer Certification desired. Experience
Prior CNC programming experience o 3+ years preferred
