Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain tolerances.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with lathe operations.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
