Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain tolerances.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows.
Document production data and maintain accurate records.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with lathe operations.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
