Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced CNC Machinists (Level 3/4) for a direct hire opportunity with a fast-growing aerospace manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for independently setting up and operating advanced CNC machining centers while producing high-precision aerospace components that meet strict quality and engineering specifications.
The ideal candidate has extensive CNC machining experience, is comfortable working independently, and is committed to producing quality parts in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
3 5+ years of CNC machining experience(Level 3/4)
Ability to independently set up and operate CNC machining centers
Experience operating 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments and maintaining tight tolerances
Experience adjusting tooling, work offsets, and performing minor program edits
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Reliable attendance and willingness to work extended hours as required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications
Adjust tooling, work offsets, and make minor CNC program edits as required
Produce precision-machined aerospace components to exact customer specifications
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to verify quality and dimensional accuracy
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary production adjustments
Maintain machinery, tooling, and work areas in clean and safe operating condition
Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and aerospace manufacturing requirements
Perform additional machining duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous aerospace machining experience
Experience machining tight-tolerance precision components
Strong understanding of CNC programming fundamentals and machining processes
Experience working in AS9100 or other aerospace quality systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely operate CNC machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working around industrial machining equipment, cutting tools, and production machinery
Work Environment
Precision aerospace manufacturing facility

Exposure to advanced CNC machining centers, precision measuring equipment, industrial machinery, and aerospace manufacturing processes
Mandatory overtime and Saturday work currently required to support production demand
