CNC Machinist Level II
Pay: $21.00 $23.00 per hour

Position Overview
The CNC Machinist Level II is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision-machined parts according to engineering specifications. This CNC Machinist Level II role requires strong machining knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and experience with Mazatrol and conversational programming. The ideal CNC Machinist Level II is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of maintaining high production and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Experience & Skills
Experience with Mazatrol and conversational programming required
1 3 years of CNC programming and machine operation experience preferred
Strong understanding of mills, lathes, tooling, and precision machining
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T specifications
Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills required
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Reliable attendance and ability to work efficiently in production environments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a loud manufacturing setting

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
Install and adjust chucks, tools, collets, vises, and machine attachments
Perform machining operations including drilling, turning, facing, grooving, threading, and cutting
Verify first-run parts and inspect finished products using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments to maintain specifications
Replace worn tooling and assist with preventive machine maintenance
Complete production logs, labor tracking, and quality documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
