Move Forward with VoltVolt is immediately hiring for CNC Machinist Level III in Carlsbad NMAs a CNC Machinist Level III you will Some limited programming setup and operate multi axis CNC Lathes and up to 5 axis mill. Select the proper tooling needed for the job at hand by skill or setup sheet. Run production andor prototype parts. Trouble shoot problems of parts being manufactured and find solutions to correct the problems. Inspect one-off and multiple-piece orders to meet customer print requirements IPIs. Help develop lower-level machinists. Run multiple machines. Proficient using measuring equipment micrometers calipers depth mic bore gages indicators etc.The ideal candidate will haveEssential Job Requirements Must possess the ability to safely operate understand and set up many pieces of CNC equipment along with other manual pieces of equipment. Be able to read and understand drawings GD&T Apply good communication skills to relay to other machinists and managers the status of current jobs problems and any other pertinent work information. Job hour estimate. Fixture creation. Not required but preferred. Good problem-solving skills.Qualifications and Education Requirements Basic understanding of G and M codes. Experience in MasterCam. Not required but preferred. Good knowledge of GD&T. General math skills. Including basic trigonometry.
