Job Full Description

Location: Lincoln, NE
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay: Up to $30/hr depending on experience
Type: Full-Time | Evaluation-to-Hire | Weekly Pay

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking togrow your career in manufacturing? Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Machinists and Machine Operators to run a variety of CNC machines for reputable companies in the Lincoln area. This is a long-term opportunity for reliable team players with strong mechanical and mathematical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
  • Select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials for machining
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications
  • Maintain production records and material usage logs
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
  • Support team goals and complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience in CNC machining
  • Experience with manual, semi-automated, or automated tools (lathes, grinders, mills)
  • Ability to use precision tools like calipers and micrometers
  • Knowledge of metal properties and CAD/CAM software for CNC machining
  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or apprenticeship a plus)
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
Schedule & Pay:
  • 1st Shift
  • Pay up to $30/hr based on experience
