Deltech Industries is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their growing team! This is a full-time position Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:- Operates fabrication machinery to produce parts used in manufacturing processes.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts.
- Selects the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines.
- Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.
- Inspects machinery for any needed repairs; performs minor repairs within expertise.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area.
- Complies with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery.
- Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
- Ability to life up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts, including overtime as needed.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
