CNC Machinist (Mill and Lathe)

About the Role

PAY
Up to $24.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Operate a wide variety of manual & CNC machine tool equipment such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, saws, and other hand and power machines.
· Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts and molds
· Able to perform machining operations with a specified degree of accuracy and within a timely manner Maintain close and exacting tolerances and finish requirements ensuring highest quality workmanship on all tools, gages, and fixtures with minimal scrap
· Possesses comprehensive knowledge of gages, precision measuring instruments, and all necessary inspection equipment
· Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance. Maintain records of maintenance. Arrange for outside service repair of equipment as required.
· Contribute ideas that eliminate waste and ensure continuous improvement of production processes.
· Continue to grow as a machinist with a willingness to implement new tools, new ideas, and new technologies as they become available.

EDUCATION

· CNC Mill: 1 year
