Job Description Summary Job Description As the CNC Machinist you will: • Work in a shop environment safely with zero accidents and/or injuries • Set-up and operate various CNC Machine Tools Horizontal/Vertical Mills • Read CNC programs, familiar with G & M codes • Make minor edits to CNC programs • Read and interpret Engineered Blue Print dwgs • Understand and apply geometric tolerances • Set up and safely use various inspection tools and gages (i.e. inner diameter (I/D) & outer diameter (O/D) Mics, calipers, Pi-tape, bore gages, Tri-mics, thread gages, etc...) • Machine to required tolerances of .001" - .005" • Determine machining feeds and speeds and tool selections • Work effectively with team to ensure successful delivery to customer Additional Information GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
