QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow instructions, drawings, specifications and other job-related material as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC mills and lathes.
  • Knowledge of safe operating procedures for CNCs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings/specifications and perform clerical duties as needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure of constant high production equipment and meet schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Aware at all times of correct orientation of product being placed in CNCs.
  • Loads and unloads products.
  • Monitors and changes cutting tools (inserts) as needed. 
  • Performs basic dimensional inspection of product as required.
  • Operates equipment in constant high production environment.
  • Starts and stops cycle of equipment, as needed, through use of push buttons and levers.
  • Removes metal shavings/chips from equipment in a safe manner.
  • Maintains a neat and clean work area.
  • Supports and participates in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to comply with ISO.
  • 9001 requirements, by following procedures and by adhering to the Quality Policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
