Essential Duties and Responsibilities- CNC Machinists
  • Set up and operate Okuma CNC mills and lathes. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. 
  • Load programs, make offsets, and adjust machine settings as needed. 
  • Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear. 
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators. 
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure quality standards are met. 
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments. 
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized. 
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies. 
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals. 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred. 
  • Experience operating and setting up Okuma mills and lathes required. 
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T preferred. 
  • Proficient with precision measuring tools. 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods. 
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions. 
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, coolant, and metal chips.
