CNC Machinist
Trillium Professional is now seeking a CNC Machinist in New Bedford, MA!
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
- Operate CNC milling machines ensuring precision in machined parts.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions.
- Program CNC machines using GD&T and CAM software, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
Machine Specifications:
- SHIBAURA BTH-110.R18 -X 100" Y 80" Z 60"
- Live Table: Weight Capacity 22,000 lbs. with 24" Rotary Table & Tailstock
Pay rate is $52.40/hour. Overtime available. Apply now!
Experience Required:
- 7+ years of experience required
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings - including an understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Must be able to operate a PC and use MS Word
- Proficient with various precision measurement tools
- Understanding of G Code
- Must be fluent with programming skills using computer aided software (Mastercam)
- Competent with FANUC controls
