CNC Machinist Department: Machine Shop
Shift: 1st (7a-3p), 2nd (3p-11p), or 3rd (11p-7a) Shift Available
Pay Range: $21-$41/hr Shift Differential: $4.00/hr for 2nd or 3rd Shift Machine complex, high-precision components alongside a team that values your excellence and expertise. We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists who enjoy working with challenging parts, tight tolerances, advanced machining processes, and a team that values technical expertise. What You’ll Do - Set up and operate CNC machining centers, grinders, and related equipment to produce precision components
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs, adjust tool offsets, and implement process improvements to optimize machining performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, setup documentation, and inspection requirements
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and process adjustments to consistently meet specifications
- Troubleshoot machining issues involving tooling, fixtures, programs, and equipment
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, indicators, calipers, CMM, optical, and laser measurement systems
- Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending improvements to tooling, fixtures, processes, and documentation
- Assist with developing and improving setup instructions, machining processes, and work instructions
- Provide technical support and knowledge sharing with other machinists
What We’re Looking For - 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
- 5+ years of manual machining experience is a plus
- Strong experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds/speeds, and process improvement
- Experience making CNC program edits and troubleshooting machining challenges
- Ability to use precision inspection equipment and interpret measurement results
- Strong math skills, including practical use of geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
