Cnc machinist

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep knowledge of horizontal machining centers, complex aerospace components, and tight-tolerance work in a regulated environment. This role plays a key part in machining critical flight hardware and supporting continuous improvement within a high-mix, low-to-medium volume production cell.

salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep knowledge of horizontal machining centers, complex aerospace components, and tight-tolerance work in a regulated environment
• 7+ years of CNC machining experience, with significant time on horizontal machining center.
• Extensive experience producing aerospace components
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
• strong knowledge of materials common to aerospace (aluminum, titanium, Inconel, stainless steels)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Solid understanding of aerospace quality systems and documentation
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
• Clean, climate-controlled, modern machining facility
