Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is hiring experienced CNC Machinists for a 2nd-shift opportunity with a growing fabrication shop in the West Tulsa / Sapulpa area. This temp-to-hire position offers steady hours, Friday overtime, and strong benefits upon permanent hire.

The CNC Machinist will operate Haas CNC equipment, complete machine setups, adjust tooling and offsets, and make basic program edits while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities

• 
  Operate Haas CNC machines with Fanuc controls.
  
• 
  Perform machine setups and prepare equipment for production runs.
  
• 
  Complete tool changes and make necessary tooling adjustments.
  
• 
  Set and adjust machine offsets.
  
• 
  Make basic CNC program edits as needed.
  
• 
  Work with G-code and M-code.
  
• 
  Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
  
• 
  Monitor machining operations for accuracy and quality.
  
• 
  Inspect work to ensure finished parts meet required specifications.
  
• 
  Identify machining issues and make appropriate adjustments.
  
• 
  Maintain safe machining practices throughout the shift.
  
• 
  Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized.
  
• 
  Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
  

Requirements

• 
  Previous CNC machining experience required.
  
• 
  Experience operating Haas CNC equipment preferred.
  
• 
  Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
  
• 
  Working knowledge of G-code and M-code.
  
• 
  Ability to perform CNC setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments.
  
• 
  Ability to make basic program changes.
  
• 
  Strong blueprint-reading skills.
  
• 
  Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  
• 
  Strong attention to precision and quality.
  
• 
  Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled 2nd shift.
  
• 
  Ability to work Friday overtime as required.
