CNC Machinist (Precision Manufacturing)

Location: East Bay, California
Compensation: $32-$37/hour + Benefits

This organization designs and builds highly customized industrial equipment used by manufacturers worldwide and is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.

What You'll Do

  • Set up, operate, and inspect CNCmachining operations
  • Produce high-precision componentsfrom engineering drawings and specifications
  • Machine a variety of materialswhile maintaining tight tolerances
  • Support prototype development andlow-volume production projects
  • Perform in-process inspections toensure quality standards are met
  • Troubleshoot machining challengesand recommend process improvements
  • Collaborate closely withengineering, manufacturing, and assembly teams
  • Contribute wherever needed tohelp meet customer deadlines and production goals
Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of CNC machiningexperience
  • Strong setup, operation, andinspection skills
  • Experience with CNC verticalmachining centers (Haas experience is a plus)
  • Manual mill and lathe experienceis desirable
  • Experience machining multiplematerials and working to tight tolerances
  • Ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision
  • Strong mechanical aptitude andproblem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret verbalinstructions and communicate effectively in English
  • Comfortable working in afast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to work occasionalovertime when required
