CNC Machinist/Programmer

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in Alliance, OH. This full-time role is ideal for experienced professionals who excel in a high-mix, fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in CNC programming and machine operation, we want to hear from you!

As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of manufacturing projects from start to finish. Your expertise in GibbsCAM and G-Code will help us maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Hours: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program CNC Machines using GibbsCAM
  • Operate CNC Mill or Lathe with precision
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Determine the sequence of operations for machining parts
  • Recommend tooling and set up machines for production
  • Edit and optimize programs for efficiency and quality
  • Perform machine setup from start to finish

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience programming GibbsCAM CNC
  • At least 2 years’ experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes in a high-mix job shop environment
  • Ability to read blueprints, determine tooling, and sequence operations
  • Proficiency with G-Code programming and machine setup

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with 2D CAD and SolidWorks

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Prior work in a high-mix, small batch manufacturing environment

Other Requirements:
  • On-site work required
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift parts as needed
