We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications.
Duties
Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture parts according to engineering specifications.
Perform CNC programming and CAM programming to create efficient machining processes.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, applying GD&T principles as necessary.
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks and CAD software for design modifications and improvements.
Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
Assemble components as required, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with hands-on knowledge of machining processes.
Proficiency in CNC programming languages (such as Fanuc) and CAM software.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with electrical discharge machining is a plus.
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining tasks.
Experience with tooling setups and adjustments for various machining operations.
Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is advantageous.
Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
