Job Description
Indus Precision Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our growing team. We are a family-owned AS9100D & ISO 9001:2015 certified precision manufacturing company serving the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and commercial industries.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem solving, and working on a wide variety of precision parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and/or turning centers
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process requirements
- Optimize machining processes for quality and efficiency
- Select tooling, workholding, and machining strategies
- Perform in-process inspections using standard inspection equipment
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues
Qualifications:
- Experience programming CNC machines (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
- Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and feeds/speeds
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience with aerospace, defense, or semiconductor work preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
