Are you a seasoned CNC Machinist Programmer looking for a thrilling new opportunity? We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Machinist Programmer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to exceed customer expectations by ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, adjust and optimize CNC programs using Vericut (or equivalent) to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and optimize 5-Axis Machining processes to enhance precision and quality of products.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in programming and production.
- Perform regular equipment inspections to identify and fix potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product requirements, develop machining strategies, and implement improvements.
- Adhere to and enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Maintain documentation for all machine adjustments and updates for reference purposes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes in equipment, procedures or methods to improve efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Vericut or equivalent software is required.
- Extensive experience with 5-Axis Machining is necessary.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and application is desired.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system is essential.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and production equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety protocols.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
