Must have experience in CNC Machining:
  • Ability to read process sheets and blueprints of job to determine machining operations, dimensional specifications, set up, and first part verification process.
  • Programming machine to cut specific parts and runs.
  • Efficient use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.)
  • Mounting, installing, aligning, and securing tools, attachments, fixtures, and work-pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Calculating machine speed and feed ratios and the size and position of cuts
  • Inspects first run piece and spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specification using operation certification knowledge
  • Experience in how to evaluate, diagnoses, troubleshoot systems and perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Fundamental knowledge of metal cutting and machining practices
  • Works with team to increase quality and productivity of CNC processes
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
  • Mill machining experience
  • Live tooling experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
  • Excellent mathematical and computer skills.
  • Fanuc and Mastercam experience is a plus!
