We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing manufacturing team in the St. Louis area. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. Candidates should have hands-on experience with machine setup, editing programs, interpreting blueprints, and performing quality inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other CNC equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
Make program edits and adjustments at the machine as needed
Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine calibrations
Verify dimensions using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and programming issues
Maintain production documentation and quality records
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Work effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams
Qualifications
3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
Experience with machine setup required
Basic CNC programming and program editing experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T is preferred
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and quality standards
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical training or machining certification is a plus
