Job Details:Â
Pay is up to $28/hr. based on experience.
AM & PM shifts available.
Duties:Â
Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three - and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating devices; tramming heads.
Capable of running and setting up general and special-purpose machines.
Hydro pneumatic presses and manual coining/tweaking.
CNC machining and programming.
Experience with small, machined parts.
Knowledge in SPC, TPM, and poke yoke, kaizen, lean manufacturing, jigs and fixtures and gauges design, GD&T.
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting.
Adjusting and reprogramming controls.
Detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
Qualifications:Â
Must have at least 2-3 yrs. of machining experience in a manufacturing shop.
Ability to read blueprints and understand process specifications.
Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
