Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Second Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

CNC Machinist Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; Certified Operator preferred.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience and 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, inspection tools, and quality gauges.
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

CNC Machinist Job Duties:

• Operate CNC and laser cutting machines to produce precision metal parts from blueprints and work instructions.
• Load materials, tooling, and programs, perform tool changeovers, and monitor machine performance.
• Inspect, measure, and deburr finished parts to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Perform routine machine checks, record production data, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area while supporting Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
