They analyze drawings to determine tooling and machining parameters, collaborate with vendors and engineering, and ensure compliance with API and safety standards.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of CNC experience or an accredited Machining Certificate, proficiency in machine programming and measurement tools, strong communication skills, and flexibility for overtime.
Work involves exposure to mechanical components, fumes, and varying weather conditions, with moderate noise levels. The role also entails lifting up to 25 pounds and reworking damaged parts as needed. Other duties are assigned by management.
