Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Roll Forming Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations in a busy metal fabrication and roll forming facility in Springdale. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for supervising production employees, coordinating workflow, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring production schedules are achieved efficiently.
The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, experience leading production teams, and a commitment to fostering a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience required
Previous supervisory or production leadership experience preferred
Roll forming experience highly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to read production drawings and measuring devices accurately
Forklift experience preferred
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise daily roll forming and metal fabrication operations
Lead, train, mentor, and develop production employees
Schedule work assignments and ensure daily production goals are achieved
Monitor product quality and inspect finished materials for compliance with specifications
Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures
Coordinate material usage, inventory, and production flow to maximize efficiency
Troubleshoot production and equipment issues while minimizing downtime
Communicate staffing needs, workflow updates, and production priorities with management
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supervising roll forming operations
Experience in structural steel or metal fabrication manufacturing
Forklift operating experience or certification
Strong understanding of production scheduling and manufacturing processes
Experience implementing continuous improvement or lean manufacturing practices
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing throughout the workday
Ability to safely work around fabrication equipment, forklifts, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Industrial metal fabrication and roll forming facility
Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
Exposure to roll forming equipment, fabrication machinery, overhead material handling, and industrial manufacturing operations
